He somehow shifted them, and she found herself on her stomach with her ass in the air.

She blinked, and Myles had entered her with one hard thrust from behind.

She braced her hands on the bed and met him stroke for stroke.

“Ahh…” she cried out.

Myles’s hands found their way to her hair. He gripped it tight, anchoring her to him as his hips thrust harder and faster.

He fucked her relentlessly, taking everything from her.

She’d thought it before, but now she knew it.

One night with Myles just wouldn’t be enough.

She was officially addicted.

Chapter 10

“Officer Stowe was patrolling the area when she heard shots being fired,” Mac announced to the group.

It was mid-morning, and SWAT was out on a call. A hostage situation involving a man and two unknown victims.

“According to Stowe, she drove around and witnessed a man standing in the street with a rifle. He then proceeded to enter that home and has barricaded himself in there.”

This was a dangerous situation.

Myles glanced around and took in the street. People were milling about on the corner. Whenever there was a situation, there was a crowd.

“Stowe also reported that the rifle looked military grade.”

“Shit,” Myles muttered. With a high-powered rifle and the suspect probably hopped up on some type of drug, this made this mission even more precarious.

“We need all the civilians out of sight,” Declan snapped, walking away from the BEAR. He stalked toward the patrol car and hollered a few orders.

Uniforms scrambled to do as he bid.

Myles turned back and tried to listen to his sergeant as best as he could, but thoughts of Roxxy crept into his mind. It had been two days since he’d left her hotel room.

The sounds of her moans still echoed in his mind.

He couldn’t shake her.

It was to be one night of fun, but instead, he wanted another one.

To save her the awkward morning after, he’d slipped from her suite before she woke up. If he hadn’t, he probably would have locked them away and kept her in the bed for a full twenty-four hours.

If he closed his eyes, he could still taste her.

“Barton!” Mac barked.

Myles blinked.

“Yeah.” He cleared his throat. He looked around and found all eyes were on him.

Zain and Iker both had smirks on their damn faces. Brodie cocked an eyebrow at him.

Shit.

Now was not the time to be off in la-la land. They were about to go into a dangerous situation, and he needed to be fully aware of everything.

Mac gave him a hard stare before continuing on. “Ash was able to get the suspect on the telephone once, and he confirmed there are two hostages inside with him. The suspect would not verify if they were unharmed. The call was disconnected, and now he will not answer. The power company is here and will be cutting all power to the house.”

Myles gave the nod to show he was listening. This tactic was used to isolate the suspect. No television, radio, or any other way he could get information on what was going on outside. The local news channels were posted outside the police tape, all reporting what was going on. It would do them more damage than good if the suspect could see and know what they were doing.

“Why the hell they let those civilians get so damn close?” Declan rejoined the group. “They had one job to do.”

Myles agreed with Declan. The last thing they needed was the suspect opening fire on the nosey people trying to see what was going on.

“What’s the move?” Myles tried to keep Roxxy from creeping back into his thoughts.

“Since we don’t know the status of the hostages, we’re going to have been careful with this. I want you, Brodie, Iker, and Zain to approach the house. Once the power is cut, we’re going to provide a cell phone. This should make him open a line of communication with us. If that fails, then we’ll breach the home.”

Myles nodded and glanced over at his teammates. They’d practiced this plenty of times. SWAT always didn’t rush into situations with guns blazing. When it came to rescuing hostages, they had to be delicate about the mission. Not knowing if the hostages were harmed or safe heightened the tension. The ultimate goal of a case like this would be to extract everyone from the house unscathed.

Myles followed Brodie over to the other side of the BEAR, where they could obtain what would be needed.

“Same as always.” Brodie opened a compartment on the vehicle.
