“Yep. All the way.” I laugh a little.

“Damn. Girl, seriously, who knew you going to a college would end up changing both of our lives forever in such a huge way?” She’s shaking her head, and laughing.

“I sure as hell didn’t.”

We laugh together and go back to watching the movie on my computer while the guys play games on the tv.

By the time Orion gets out of the shower, the movie is over, and we join the guys in the living room. I take up residence on O’s lap because I haven’t seen him since I left him with his father, and something tells me he needs me right now.

He instantly wraps his arms around me, pulling me tight against him, and I feel his body relaxing under mine.

“You okay?” I whisper into his neck, and he nods.

“I’m fine.” He says it with such certainty that I know he believes it, but part of me wonders if it’s really that easy for him to torture his own father without feeling a thing.

“I’m always here if you need to talk, O,” I tell him, and he gives me a smile.

“I know, baby, but I really am fine,” he assures me, and I believe him.

Who am I to begin to try and understand the way his brain works so differently than most?

I think it trips me up sometimes because he’s the exact opposite with me. Sometimes it’s hard to reconcile both versions of him, but one thing is certain, I am irrevocably in love with Orion Conners, and nothing will ever change that.

“You feel tense.” I look into his eyes and he smirks, shuffling me on his lap until I feel his arousal poking me, and I groan.

Well, shit. If I had known he was just turned on, I wouldn’t have said anything.

I glance at the others in the room. Bry and Colt definitely heard me if their darkened eyes are anything to go by, but Addy seems oblivious as she watches the tv. Thank fuck.

He smirks down at me before looking at everyone.

“Who wants pizza? I’m starving.” And just like that, the tension between us is broken as we decide what to order for dinner.

Orion

I’ve been torturing the bastard for two days now, and it’s been absolute glory. He’s cried like a little bitch, and the deeper torture hasn’t even begun yet.

That first day, after Harleigh submitted to me in front of him, breaking his first layer of walls, I spent it making small cuts all over his body.

Just breaking the skin enough to bleed. Over and over again, I cut until his body was covered in hundreds of tiny painful cuts that ran skin deep, and had him bawling like a baby.

Day two consisted of more minimal torture while I asked him questions he has no intentions of ever answering, but he will. They always do.

Today, that’s going to change. I’m sick of taking it quite as slowly as I had planned. Not because I don’t want him to suffer for days on end, but because I’m constantly away from Harleigh and I don’t like it.

In the back of my mind, I know that even with Paul’s death, this is far from over. So, today we change the game, and get the answers we all seek. It’s why we’re all down here, and why Darren and Mark will be joining us as well.

The four of us walk into his room as a solid unit. If I was going to brutally torture him for answers and possibly end everything, they deserved to be there to have their questions answered face to face.

Neither Harleigh or Brian wanted to be the ones to actually harm him, but Colten wanted to get in a few hits for what he did to our girl. We will never be okay with anyone trying to touch her against her will, but especially not my father.

“Hello, father,” I say cheerfully as he looks up at us, exhaustion filling his eyes along with weariness. He knows today is different. He can sense it.

“Fuck, it’s disgusting in here.” Colten gags, and I laugh.

I can’t argue that with him. He’s been tied to a chair for days, pissing and shitting himself, unable to move or do anything about it. His body’s reaction is firmly out of his control with the amount of fear I’ve instilled in him.

I look to Brian as he holds our girl’s hand, and aside from the scrunched nose she’s sporting, you wouldn’t be able to see just how uncomfortable she truly is in this situation.

“How are you feeling, old man?” He glares at me, and I laugh. “You’re right. I really don’t care.”

Looking over the tools on my table, I decide the blowtorch is going to be a nice starting point. Picking it up, Harleigh lets out a little squeak, and Paul snorts.

“You’ve sure chosen the wrong guy if this bothers you, love.” His voice is raspy from going without much water.

He gets a few sips a day at most. I can’t have him dying of natural causes on me, after all.

I don’t even get a chance to react to him before Colten is laying into him with punch after punch to his gut. Just when I think he’s done, he reaches for the clamps on my father’s nipples, ripping them clear from his body.

Father howls from the pain of them being savagely torn from his body, blood flying everywhere on a heaving Colten, and I can only smile like the lunatic I am. Harleigh runs to Colten’s side to sooth him as the door opens, welcoming Mark and Darren into my den of despair.

“What the fuck is going on down here?” Mark barks as his eyes instantly scan the room, looking for his daughter before he visibly relaxes and shuts the door.

“My piece of shit father said something to Harleigh, and Colten went a little caveman. Ruined my next plan of torture, too.” I sigh like it’s such a disappointment, and all eyes turn to me as I put down the blowtorch.

“Ummm, O?” Harleigh looks at me with worry, and I wave her over to me.
