Samantha Says…

Q:Dear Samantha,

I’m glad to see you’re back! You may remember me as the reader who was stuck in an unrequited love. Well, I didn’t take your advice and instead professed my love. As it turns out, he rejected me and I was mortified. So I turned to my best friend, a boy I had grown up with, and discovered a love I had never seen coming.

As it turns out, losing the object of my affection brought me something much deeper… my best friend, and the one I want to grow old with. So while I don’t need your relationship advice anymore (it was pretty terrible, if I do say so), I am interested in any natural ways to deal with morning sickness! Yes, we are expecting, which doctors claimed was miraculous, given my “advanced age.”

For any readers who may feel alone like I did, trust that love comes in unexpected forms and unexpected times.

Sincerely,

Aching Agnes

A: Dear Aching Agnes,

You thought I had been beat, didn’t you? Well, I did too. But it turns out women can’t be stifled or silenced or put down as easy as they thought. It will take a lot more than a media scandal, a threat to my life, and a discontinued magazine to stop me. This is now your magazine, ladies, and you get to help run it!

Congratulations on the nuptials and upcoming baby! As for your morning sickness, I’ve been sipping ginger root tea every morning, which helps. Oh, and did I mention that I’m expecting too?

Stay tuned for new upcoming healthy options for mothers-to-be, including all-new therapies for anxiety, sleeplessness, irritability, achy back, swollen feet, weak bladder control, and even some health tips for the little ones!

Sincerely,

Samantha
