Harleigh:
Stop staring at me!
I laugh when I read her message, and look back to see her avoiding more eye contact in favour of her lunch.
Me:
I think the three of us need to have a chat about how this…relationship is going to work. I hate not touching you or talking to you without fighting with you, babe.
Harleigh:
Bry says meet in my room after classes. No fighting? You have met us, right Colten? We hate each other.
I bark out a laugh when I read it, and she sends me a saucy smirk. Fuck that girl has balls.
Me:
Aww, baby don’t be like that. I don’t consider it hate. I like to think of us as straight up fire, and the other night was proof.
She reads the text and giggles before showing Brian what’s so funny. You know what that fucker does? He grabs onto my girl’s neck and kisses her fucking senseless right in front of me.
Asshole. I’m going to get him back for that.
When he looks my way with a smirk, I give him the middle fucking finger making him laugh as they walk away.

Two boyfriends. Not like that isn’t complicated at all. It would be easier if they got along. Maybe.
Who the hell am I kidding? They’re like oil and water. Come to think of it, so were Colten and I but we seem to get along now…ish.
Shit, my life got complicated so fast. I started college, met and fell in love with Bry, found out I was a supernatural being and adopted, then started a relationship with the one person I hate the most in this place.
Yep. Complicated.
I need to call Addy. She’ll help me figure out the dual boyfriend thing. You know, after she has a minor Addy meltdown then gives me shit for not calling her for so long.
“What’s going through that head of yours, beautiful?” Bry leans over to whisper in my ear, and I smirk at him.
“You and Colten need to give me an hour before you come to my room.”
He looks sort of like I kicked his puppy and I kind of feel bad for him. Almost. “Let me guess, girl talk?”
“You betcha!” I say gleefully, and he groans.
“Fine, but just so you know, I don’t like being away from you.” He winks and pokes me in the side making me giggle, and the professor clears her throat.
“Something funny, Ms. Roe?” she asks.
“Nope. Sorry, just thought of something.”
“Yeah, okay. See that you stop thinking of anything that isn’t important to the lesson.”
I nod and blush before shooting a glare at Brian, his shoulders moving up and down in silent laughter behind his hand.
Ass.
I will get him back for that.
“Well shit, you remembered me,” Addy teases me through the phone.
“I could never forget your sassy ass.” I laugh at her attitude.
Damn, I missed her. Not seeing her every day has been an adjustment I wish I didn’t have to make, but after several months it has gotten easier.
“Shit is tougher here than I anticipated,” I tell her sighing.
“Yeah yeah. So is having a boyfriend to climb like a tree. Let’s be honest,” she teases me.
“You’re not wrong.” I join in her laughter. “Anything new happening at the homestead? How are you doing with college?” I ask.
“School is school. There’s this cute guy that just transferred in. Like mega cute.”
“Oh yeah? Have you given him the Addy charm yet?” I tease.
