“Fuck, babe. Don’t go getting kidnapped again, okay? I almost had a heart attack. That’s not a good look on a demon,” he whispers into my hair, and I snort.
“Sorry, baby. I’m okay, I just want to go home. Where’s Gramps?” At that question, Paul lets out a whimpered cry, and we all turn to face him.
I take a step toward Dad and Orion, grabbing O’s hand, and wrapping my other arm around Dad.
“Did he hurt you, sweetheart?” Dad looks at me with concern as his eyes. He keeps glancing to where Paul still sits against the wall.
“No,” I state, because he didn’t. Not really, anyway.
O growls and squeezes my hand, getting my attention on him. “Did he touch you, Harleigh?”
The bile rises in my throat before I can stop it, and I know they can see it on my face. “You’re a dead man!” O screams at his father, who seems to have forgotten he was in the room as he moves his gaze to us.
“I—I…” he stammers, but no words come out.
“I’m going to enjoy torturing you to death, old man.” If possible, his face grows even paler at Orion’s words. “It’s going to take a long time, too. We need answers, and you’re going to provide them.”
Before anyone can get another word out, Lucifer walks into the room with Raphael. His hands are wrapped in glowing chains, and I’m temporarily mesmerized by them before he speaks.
“I should have dealt with you on the spot. You’re a filthy little bitch who will never see Heaven!” he snaps. He sneers at me before another glowing chain appears around his neck, effectively cutting him off.
“Talk to my granddaughter like that again, Raph, and I may just take you to Hell with me to play for a bit before I return you.” Lucifer’s eyes are glowing red as he sneers at the angel in question.
I don’t even think about it before my feet are moving toward him, and I’m wrapping my arms around his waist in a hug he returns with ease.
“Are you alright, baby girl?” He looks at me with love and compassion, and the tears I’ve been trying to hold back start falling down my face.
“I’m okay, Gramps.” I give him another squeeze before stepping back into Brain’s waiting arms. He’s the one I need right now.
“You don’t look okay, baby girl.” His eyes travel across everyone before landing on Paul. “I am going to trust your son to deal with you the way he sees fit.” His smile is dark and dangerous as he continues. “A little birdie told me he’s excellent at prolonged torture, and since you’re human, I can’t do it myself.”
Paul passes out after Lucifer threatens him, and Dad laughs as he goes over to tie him up, before lifting his limp body over his shoulder.
“Darren?” I ask, and look at Gramps, and he nods.
“He’s tied up by the door. Only your father knows how to unlock those chains, so he won’t be getting away.”
I sigh with relief and thank him before he disappears with Raphael.
“Okay, let’s get the fuck out of here. I need a shower, and about three days of cuddles.” I look at the guys and wink, and Dad groans, making us laugh as we head back to the car. It’s not a long drive back to Connerton, but it’s enough that I almost fall asleep.
When we get back, Dad and the guys move Paul and Darren into two separate rooms in the basement that only we have access to, before calling it a night.
With them down there, no one will hear their screams, and that’s all that matters for tonight.

Harleigh
Wrecked.
That’s how I’m feeling since the second my eyes opened this morning. Everything in my body feels taut and sore from being tied to the wall in that room for so long.
I know what you’re thinking. It wasn’t that long, right? Normally, I would agree with you. But I was wound up so tight with stress and anxiety from that asshole touching me, that my body is feeling the aftereffects of it today.
“Relax, beautiful. Everyone is leaving to go home today.” Bry pulls me in closer and I sigh, relaxing my body as he shoots his calmness through me.
Home.
Another thing we don’t get to do this year. Addy and I need our parents and her sister to be safe, so David set it up that they were sent on a summer-long cruise.
Us? We’re all staying at the school where it’s the safest.
“I know, I’m just exhausted,” I whisper, trying to not wake Orion. He’s on the other side of me, and Colten is at my feet.
“You’re allowed to be, baby.” Orion’s voice is heavy with sleep. “I think we need to pamper you today.” He kisses my forehead and snuggles into the front of me, and Colt stirs at my feet.
“Agreed.” He sits up rubbing his eyes. “I say junk food, musicals, and lots of cuddles. What do you think, babe?” He smiles softly at me.
My sweet, sweet demon.
“I think that sounds almost perfect.”
“Almost?” Orion raises an eyebrow, and I wiggle in Bry’s arms, making him grunt out a laugh.
“I think our girl needs some attention today. Are you horny, beautiful?” He starts kissing my neck, and I moan.
“Very.” I bite my lip and smirk at them. “But no one can touch me.” They all freeze, and I sigh.
