Knock.Knock.Knock.
I groan when Harleigh gets up with a yawn, pulling the blanket off the bed with her, making the other two complain.
“Oh, hush,” she chastises us as she pulls the comforter around her, and pads to the door.
“I’m too tired for this shit,” Colten groans beside us, and Orion snorts as he sits up.
“Hey, Dad!” Harleigh squeaks, and we all jump up off the bed as Mark walks into the room before stopping, frozen to the spot.
“For fuck’s sake!” It’s part groan, part roar, and Harleigh snorts as we rush to pull our boxers and pants back on.
I’m not a prude. Actually, none of us are, but we really don’t need Mark to see us naked after defiling his daughter.
“Is this all you guys ever do?” He glares at us before holding a hand up. “Actually, don’t fucking answer that. Just get yourselves dressed,” he grumbles before turning toward Harleigh.
“Really, Mark? I have three boyfriends. Did you think I was a saint or some shit?” she gripes at him, and he runs his hands down his face.
“No. I just don’t like thinking of you like… that.” He shudders, and she laughs as we join them.
“Uh, beautiful?” My throat is hoarse, reminding me of what happened earlier. When I chance a glance at Orion, he just smirks, lifting an eyebrow, questioning if I dare to say anything about it.
“What?!” she snaps at me, before muttering an apology under her breath and walking into my arms.
“You kind of need to get dressed,” I whisper in her ear before pulling away, and her face is as red as can be.
Once she’s made her way into the bathroom with a change of clothes, Mark glares at us.
“You better be taking good care of her.” His eyes narrow on each of us, and I shake my head in annoyance.
“We love her, and will always take care of her. You know this already, Mark,” I remind him, and I know he can see the sincerity.
“She’s our girl, man, and she needed a distraction from everything. She was antsy about waiting until everyone left the campus,” Colten tells him, and Mark nods.
“That’s why I came.” He clears his throat. “Everyone is officially gone. It’s just you four, Adeline, and myself left here.”
Just then, Harleigh comes padding out of the bathroom in black leggings and a hoodie she stole from me.
Me: You’re trying to kill me.
She rolls her eyes at me, and giggles.
H: How are you feeling?
Me: Uh, fine, I guess?
C: Is that a question?
H: Leave him alone, Colt.
Orion stays quiet as he listens, and then walks over to take our girl in his arms, kissing her gently.
“Everyone is gone. Do you want to go downstairs?” he asks her, and she nods.
“Yes. I need to speak to Darren. But…” She swallows, and her eyes move to the floor.
“What?” we all ask her, and she sniffles.
“I don’t want to see Paul today. I don’t want him to ruin today for us,” she whispers, and we all look at one another before agreeing.
If she doesn’t want to see that manipulative asshole today, then she doesn’t have to. We will wait until tomorrow.
“Do I want to know what happened today?” Mark asks, and we all shake our heads. “Alright, good talk. When you’re ready to go see Darren let me know, and I’ll meet you guys down there.” He gives Harleigh a quick hug and kisses her on the head before leaving us alone again.
“Ummm.” She bites her lip and looks between us.
“Yes?” Orion asks.
“Should we, uh, talk about what happened?” She looks between me and Orion, and I let him answer her.
“What do you want to talk about?”
“Did you guys enjoy it?” she asks shyly.
He gives her a soft smile and cups her cheek in his hand. Seeing him so gentle with her is something I’m not sure I will ever get used to. He’s so aggressive and cold with everyone else.
“You know I’m not good with emotions,” he states, and she nods. “I did it for you, baby. You were so turned on.” He licks his lips, and his eyes get a little darker before he continues. “I’m not into guys, but if that was something you really enjoyed, I wouldn’t be against doing it once in a while. For you,” he points out, to make sure we all understand he only did it for her.
