Thank you for taking this trip to Lovewell with me! My 16th published book, and one that is so near and dear to my heart. I’ve been dreaming about Gus and Chloe for close to two years. I knew she’d be a ball buster who bought his company and I knew there would be a power struggle that resulted in wild passion.

But I didn’t anticipate having to write this book during one of the most challenging periods of my life. And like all my books, it would not have been possible without the support of several talented and dedicated people.

There were moments when writing and producing this book felt impossible. But thankfully, I have some wonderful people in my corner who will not let me quit.

This, or any of my other books, would not exist without my team.

Morgan Leigh, I asked for help and you jumped in with both feet, quickly becoming the MVP in my life and the person who keeps me organized and on track. I treasure your friendship and your positive attitude. No one is more willing and more capable of learning new things than you are, and I am pinching myself that I get to call you mine.

Erica Walsh, thank you for being my friend and cheerleader for all these years. From cover design to finding photos and editing blurbs, you are truly in my corner every single day. We have cried and laughed and yelled together over the past three years, and I am a better person and writer because of you.

To the incomparable Jenni Bara, you are so talented, humble, and kind. Your friendship is a true gift.
