I cringed. “How did you know?”
“I’m a light sleeper. I heard you and your man talking about it.”
This time I hmm’d and kissed her softly. “And yet you stayed.”
Her arms wrapped around my neck again. “I wasn’t sure if it was a dream or not. Someone didn’t really give me time to think much about it when I was fully awake.”
“I didn’t hear any complaining.”
She giggled and pulled the hair on the back of my head, giving her access to my neck. I swiftly rotated us, so her back was on the seat, and I was hovering over her. My expensive cars were always worth the extra space and power.
I lifted her leg and spanked her. Fiona’s eyes rolled to the back of her head.
“You locked me out of my whole system. Even my computer guy couldn’t gain access. I think he is half in love with you just from that. If he ever sees you, he will worship you.”
“Why is…” she moaned loudly, making me grin as I moved within her, “that?”
I stopped moving, making her frown. “Because you are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I was ready to kill you all week. I’ve been waiting out here for hours, planning how to torture answers out of you, and then how to kill you without anyone knowing. But then I took one look in your hypnotizing eyes, heard one word in your siren voice, and all the anger fled from me. What is this power you have over me?”
Fiona didn’t respond, she just thrust her hips up, forcing me to refocus on the task at hand. Literally. As one hand was on her chest, while the other kept me from falling on top of her.
I waited until we were both dressed again before speaking.
“Seriously, I need access to my computers and accounts. We can’t even open the safe to put the money in every night. I’ve had to hire extra security, so the clients don’t try anything on my employees to get that money.”
With a smirk, she pulled out her phone and looked like she was messaging someone.
“Done.” She slid her phone back in her purse not even five minutes later.
“That’s it? It’s all open now?”
“Yep. And I ordered an Uber, they should be here soon.”
Well, now I was offended. “I said I would take you home. I know you told BoBo no because you didn’t want me to find you. And I know you don’t tell Randy because who knows who all is following him trying to collect money. But I already found you. And I don’t care about him.”
Fiona laid her head on my shoulder, much in the way Bunny does sometimes, with her hand on my chest. Unlike Bunny though, I didn’t want Fiona to move away. I needed to keep her there longer. But why?
“It's not just you and Randy. There is only one person out there who knows where I live and where I work. It's more because of my job than anything else.” She rotated her head enough to look up at me, I responded by tightening my hold on her. “It’s kind of my job to both protect people from hackers and to catch the hackers when they try.”
“Ah, hence you hiding your cyber footprint.” That explained a lot.
