Dillan
I couldn’t help but smile as I went to Fiona’s bathroom and found a washcloth. That woman practically ripped my manhood off when she thought of Bunny touching me. I was fairly certain it was more her jealousy and not the pain that got to me. I loved it.
Fiona was an enigma through and through. She was the perfect example of a sinner hiding as a saint. She loved her job. I had no doubts about that. I was also pretty sure her bosses wouldn’t care about me. As far as most of the world was concerned, I was just a club owner. But I could see her point. And I would respect her wishes. No matter how much I hated them.
I cleaned myself off as well as I could, then headed to the lobby. The same doorman and security were on duty again. I approached the security guard and talked to him softly.
“I don’t know if you remember…”
“You came in with Fi last night.”
I tipped my head to the side and nodded, impressed.
“You have a good memory.”
He shrugged. “Fiona needs looking after. She is too nice for her own good.”
I couldn’t help the small chuckle. “I agree, but only to a degree. Fiona is most definitely capable of handling herself. She just puts her own needs last.”
He frowned but nodded.
“I will be around for a long while.” I pulled one of my business cards out of my wallet, with a hundred folded behind it. “I would appreciate a heads-up if anything happens. Her brother does not associate with the best of people, and I worry about it falling back on her.”
“And how do I know you are telling the truth? How do I know she wants you around?” He didn’t move to take the card or money.
I lifted an eyebrow and waved the small items back and forth. “Fiona bring men home often? She really seem like the type to let people she doesn’t trust know where she lives? Or even stay after she leaves?”
He thought about that then nodded as he emptied my hand. “That is true. Very true. I have her brother on a list of no admittance. In fact, she strictly said to tell him she does not live here, and I don’t know her, if he tries.” He waited expectantly, but I wasn’t going to fill in any blanks for him. He sighed when he realized that. “Just please tell me if he is a danger to her. I like Fi. And not just for the cookies or free IT help.”
“IT help? Don’t you guys have your own?”
“Yeah, but Fi is better.” He leaned down like he was telling an earth-shattering secret. “Don’t tell anyone, but Fi upgraded all of our systems, and made it so it looked just like the old one. I’m the only one who knows.”
I laughed and scratched my head. That woman.
“Yeah, she locked me out of my own company. My computer guy was able to look in, like window shopping. But that was it. Anything connected to electronics was unavailable to us. It was not easy finding her, but totally worth it.”
The guard laughed, as did I. 24 hours ago, I was angry enough to kill her over it. Now? It made me want to take her all over again. The surface and place didn’t matter, as long as I could be with her.
