Ingredients
1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 (¼-ounce) envelope active dry yeast
2–3 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
How to Prepare
Place water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl and mix until dissolved.
Let it rest for 5 minutes or until it begins to foam.
In the bowl of a stand electric mixer, fitted with a dough hook, place yeast mixture, 2 cups of flour, salt, and oil and mix on low speed for about 1 minute.
Slowly, add enough flour and mix until a soft and smooth dough forms.
Now, mix on medium speed for 5 minutes.
With a plastic wrap, cover the dough bowl and set aside in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 400ºF.
Lightly, grease a baking sheet.
