About the Author
TAMMY BRUCE, an independent conservative, is the New York Times bestselling author of The Death of Right and Wrong, and is a podcast host, columnist, speaker, and Fox News Contributor. After a history in the 1990s of being a leftist community organizer, she now works to make sure her that experience is used to expose and help defeat the leftist agenda. Fear Itself is her fourth book.
In 2005 she joined Fox News as a political contributor. In addition to providing commentary and political analysis on a variety of the network’s shows, she frequently serves as a guest host for various programs. Ms. Bruce’s column appears weekly at AMAC.us, and she has been profiled, and her editorials and commentaries on significant social issues have been published, in a wide variety of magazines and newspapers including the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, the Washington Times, the Guardian, the San Francisco Chronicle, Esquire, and the Advocate, among others.
In addition to her weekly column, Ms. Bruce also speaks to a variety of groups nationwide, including college, business, and civic organizations about a range of topics, including her most requested commentary, “Contrary to Popular Belief: How Conservative Ideals Empower Women, Gays, and Blacks.” In 2022, she was the recipient of Log Cabin Republicans’ Spirit of Lincoln award, which honors “individuals who exemplify a commitment to enhancing personal freedom, encouraging individual responsibility, and ensuring equality under the law for all Americans.”
