How to Prepare

Place flour, yeast, and salt in a bowl and mix well.

In a separate bowl, place buttermilk, butter, and sugar, and mix well.

In the bowl of buttermilk mixture, add flour mixture and mix until well combined.

With your hands, knead the dough for about 10 minutes.

With a kitchen towel, cover the dough bowl and place in warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Uncover the dough and with your hands, punch it several times.

Place the dough in a greased bread loaf pan.

With a kitchen towel, cover the loaf pan and place in warm place for 30–45 minutes or until doubled in size.

Preheat your oven to 350ºF.

Bake for approximately 30–35 minutes or until a wooden skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove the loaf pan from the oven and place onto a wire rack to cool for about 10 minutes.

Now, invert the bread onto the wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

With a sharp knife, cut the bread loaf into desired-sized slices and serve.
