Ingredients
¾ cup water
4½ teaspoons active dry yeast
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons quick oat, divided
2 teaspoons salt
3 cups milk
3 tablespoons canola oil
3 cups whole-wheat flour
3 cups bread flour
How to Prepare
Place water, yeast, and sugar in a bowl and mix until dissolved completely.
Let it rest for 5 minutes or until it begins to foam.
In the bowl of yeast mixture, place 1 cup of oats, salt, milk, and oil, and mix until well combined.
Place the flours and mix until just combined.
