Turmeric Bread
Ingredients
½ cup plus 1 tablespoon almond flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
¼ teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
2 egg whites
1 cup raw almond butter
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
How to Prepare
Preheat your oven to 350ºF.
Grease a bread loaf pan.
Place flour, baking soda, turmeric, and salt in a bowl and mix well.
In a separate large bowl, add the eggs, egg whites, and almond butter, and beat until smooth.
Slowly, add the water and beat until well combined.
Add the flour mixture and mix until well combined.
Add the apple cider vinegar and stir to combine.
Place the bread mixture into the prepared loaf pan evenly.
Bake for approximately 20–25 minutes or until a wooden skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove the loaf pan from the oven and place onto a wire rack to cool for about 5 minutes.
Carefully, invert the bread onto the wire rack.
With a sharp knife, cut the bread loaf into the desired-sized slices and serve warm.
Preparation time: 15 minutes
